Welford-on-Avon golf course is a pay & play family run hidden gem. Designed by Martin Hawtree in 2001 it’s a stunning 18 hole par 70 (6080 yard) parkland course.

The Stratford Greenway is a converted railway line so is flat and straight. The Stratford Bike Hire is great for young children to gain their cycling confidence without worrying about traffic. In addition, to Stratford Bike Hire and Carriages cafe at the start of the ride, there is another railway carriage cafe after 2.5 miles in case a refreshment stop is needed! Tel: 07711 776340
Welford Bowls Club is a friendly club, catering to all levels of bowling ability, with excellent facilities including Outdoor and Indoor bowling greens. The Club also offers the opportunity for anyone interested in joining to learn how to play Bowls (sometimes called Lawn Bowls). Coaching can be arranged for new or current bowlers. Outdoor matches are played during afternoon, evening and weekends against other clubs and visiting Touring teams. Blenheim Nursery is a family run nursery. They sell large amounts of bedding plants, planted containers and hanging baskets. Stratford's Only Canal and River Boat Trip! Enjoy a leisurely 45 min boat tour from the very centre of Stratford upon Avon with regular departures every day. Travel through the historic canal lock, down onto the River Avon for sightseeing tours and back again. The canal basin is centrally located between the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre and main shopping areas of the town.
